Oooh would you be willing to share the one that does through your head? I am definitely going to think about this and see if I can find one that helps me xx
Thanks for Sharing your experience.. you are not along in those feelings and I totally understand what you are trying to say! I wonder if this can help the first step with that pattern is to know the difference between a “feeling” and a “thought” On those not so good days you can still try and decide what you are going to think in any given situation. Your thoughts and feelings determine your actions and determine the results. It’s absolutely ok to have not so good days but if you find a positive quote, saying or mantra that helps during that time it might/should improve the quality of your life. So as a goal to yourself. Maybe find one that works for you! I have one that circles around my head quite often without even really thinking about!
I think it all depends on a persons mindset. When I’m eating well, looking after myself and enjoying exercise the quotes and sayings can encourage me to keep going, push further. However when I’m in the lazy mindset of eating too much rubbish and not exercising the sayings and quotes wouldn’t encourage me or change the way I feel at that point. A naturally positive person would take the good from the sayings and quotes, whereas a negative person may feel these quotes make them feel unaccomplished. I don’t know whether what I’ve just written makes sense 😂
